This privacy policy explains how we use any personal information we collect about you. The Vocational Aspects of Education Ltd – (trading name The Journal of Vocational Education and Training – JVET) is committed to the protection of the privacy of its customers and website visitors.

Publishing Conference Abstracts and Papers
If you present a paper, hold a seminar / lecture with us or are awarded a scholarship / bursary from us, your personal information is used in connection with the dissemination and promotion of your published work, as is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests as a commercial organisation. Your name and affiliation will be published as part of authored work. Personal information is also used to handle payments or for other purposes, as is necessary to perform the contract entered into with us.

In addition, we sometimes take photos and videos at our conferences and events associated with our work. Where photos and videos are taken at our events that feature you as an author, we may use those photos and videos for promotional purposes.

In addition to the personal information that you may provide us, our website may use technology that lets us collect certain technical information such as your Internet protocol address, your computer's operating system, your browser type, traffic patterns and the address of any referring websites.
